What's this about? In the beginning (2001) I launched this site to demonstrate that it should be possible to put the strange phenomenon known as Sonoluminescence to practical use, i.e., to extract power from it, rather than let it remain forever as just a weird kind of parlour-trick.
There are plenty of references to S.L. (Sonoluminescence) on the 'net, so if in doubt, Google it.
My design depends for its operation upon the diamagnetic properties of three specific materials: - water, carbon and aluminium.
Most importantly, the very strong antithesis exhibited between pure carbon and water will enable the support of microscopically thin strings of water (rather like fibre-optic filaments) between closely bundled carbon fibres within a purposely built wire-wound music string. (Any three adjacent carbon fibres in mutual contact will enclose one capillary space and, pro rata, several thousand constituting a music string core).
Within these pages, I suggest that using these diamagnetic materials, a hollow music string could be used to generate and contain long chains of S.L. events which would be interactive and additive in their power output. A music string is perhaps the simplest and most efficient machine in the universe and so would appear to be the ideal container within which to control both simple and complex harmonic amplification.
Lots of other stuff crept into this site over the years but if you want to "follow the S.L. string" click here...
Everything else (rather a multi-directional maze) is here...

My name is Steve Acworth and I currently live in Wales U.K.
